With its latest alliance with Laguna Productions, the label announces the release of a new series highlighting new packages that include song recordings and the films by Mexico's legendary icons. "This new alliance allows us to offer our public the opportunity to listen to great hits and see the films by their top stars," explained Guillermo Page, Commercial Vice President at Sony BMG Latin.

The DVD format makes it possible for both movie and music lovers to have the complete Works by their favorite artists in a single package. Laguna Productions brings to the table, their vast experience of over two decades in film distribution, as well as, the most extensive catalogue of Spanish language films from Mexico's Golden Age cinema, including movies by the legendary Jorge Negrete, Javier Solís and Vicente Fernández among others starring in the first joint releases of both music and film.
"Jorge Negrete, El Charro Cantor, Éxitos de Película", with the films "Hasta Que Perdió Jalisco" and "Tal Para Cual", was the first title to premiere the collection. Followed by "Javier Solís Éxitos De Película", a collection of songs that earned him the title of the king of the bolero ranchero and a DVD with his unforgettable movie "Juan Pistolas".
